Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Verimei ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Verimei provides online IMEI and serial number checking services for mobile devices. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • iCloud and Find My status verification
  • Blacklist and stolen device verification
  • Carrier and SIM lock status verification
  • Device warranty and coverage verification
  • Device model identification and specifications
  • Device authenticity verification

We source information from manufacturer databases, carrier networks, and third-party providers. Results are provided "as-is" based on the data available at the time of the check.

User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account or API keys with others.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Free and Paid Services

Free Checks

  • Guest users receive a limited number of free checks per day.
  • Registered users receive daily check limits based on their tier level.
  • Free checks are subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued.

Paid Tiers and Subscriptions

  • Paid tier subscriptions provide higher daily check limits, discounts on paid services, and additional features.
  • Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
  • You may cancel auto-renewal at any time; your tier benefits continue until the end of the current billing period.
  • Prices may be changed with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.

Account Balance / Credits

  • Funds added to your account balance are used to pay for premium services and tier subscriptions.
  • Account balances are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • We reserve the right to expire unused credits after 12 months of account inactivity.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose, including checking stolen devices to facilitate their sale.
  • Attempt to bypass rate limits, security measures, or anti-bot protections.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service outside of our official API.
  • Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit check results without authorization.
  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
  • Use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm any individual.

API Usage

  • API access is available to registered users with an active API key.
  • API usage is subject to the same rate limits and terms as web-based usage.
  • API keys are confidential; sharing or exposing them may result in account suspension.
  • We reserve the right to revoke API access for any violation of these Terms.

Accuracy and Limitations

  • Check results are based on data from third-party sources (manufacturers, carriers, databases). We do not guarantee 100% accuracy.
  • Results reflect the status at the time of the check and may change over time.
  • Verimei is not affiliated with Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Google, or any device manufacturer.
  • Check results should be used as one factor in your purchasing decision, not the sole basis.
  • We are not responsible for purchasing decisions made based on our check results.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, logos, and branding on Verimei are our property and protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • Verimei is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.
  • We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely accurate.
  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
  • Unused account balance may be forfeited (except where prohibited by law).
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then through binding arbitration if necessary.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
